We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Education Assistants to join our team dedicated to student education and growth. In this position, you have the unique opportunity to work with our learners one-on-one or in small group settings to promote peer connection, enhance education opportunities, and support student independence.

What Makes You a Good Fit?

• Two years post high school education or higher

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or experience with behavior management

• The physical demands of this job include general activity such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling throughout the school day.

• The position requires carrying and lifting of body weight and/or objects/equipment as well as pushing/pulling forces of individuals in wheelchairs and adaptive devices from 1 to 40 pounds continuously, 40-60 pounds frequently and from 60 to 99 pounds occasionally.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, if new hires (including transfers).

• Compensation: Starting at $19.85 per hour - This position earns the Education Assistant differential pay. Each position that qualifies for the Education Assistant differential pay earns an additional $2 per hour (included in the rate listed above).
